Almond oil -  High in fatty acids which is very effective on dry skin: it consist rich penetrating qualities reconditions and restores. Great for effective use on dry, itchy or inflamed skin.
 
Apricot Kernel Oil - This  light and balancing oil is extracted from the kernels of the delicious apricot fruit. It is slightly astringent and therefore very good to use as a conditioning skin balancer. It lightness makes it easy to absorb, and overall gentleness is suitable for all skin types - from baby to elderly skin. It is often recommended for softening the delicate skin around the eyes and neck on mature skin for its skin tightening properties.
 
Argan Oil - It is very effective on dry, irritated or sunburnt skin. It contains some antiseptic and anti inflammatory properties. It is also very good to help prevent wrinkles by its ability to promote moisture retention and stimulate the skin’s natural metabolism.  
Avocado Oil - It is as nutritious as you might expect from this delicious rich fruit. It is rich in conditioning vitamins A, B, D and E which are superb on dry hair and skin. Being a heavier oil, it requires a longer time than other base oils to penetrate the skin. Therefore, it’s best used in creams or in oils used for massage or after bathing to maximize absorption time.
Bergamot -  Bergamot’s warm floral and citrus fragrance is both refreshing and balancing. It is widely used to help ease anxiety and nervous tension, balance the senses, and aid with depression. Bergamot’s qualities make it an excellent sleep aid, bringing the sweetest of dreams.
 
Castor oil - It is taken from the seeds of shrub and is a very shiny, viscous base oil. It is very effective at softening hard and/or dry skin on elbows, knees, heels.
 
Cedarwood  - The Cedarwood essential oil has a soft woody scent. Its great power lies in the ability to promote calm and soothe the nerves. Its astringent qualities help promote healthy hair and skin, providing an excellent remedy to dandruff problems when applied to the scalp. And it also acts as a natural insect repellent.
Chamomile flowers- The sweet apple like aroma of the chamomile flower brings with it a relaxing effect. Suitable for use on sensitive skin, this mild oil is great for helping soothe inflamed skin when used in balms, salves and body oils. Use it to aid blemishes, blisters, insect bites and rashes.
 
Coconut - Coconut oil in its pure form smells sweet and tropical and it has amazing emollient properties. This oil is in fact solid at temperatures below 24 degrees celsius. This oil is really an all-rounder: a skin softener, conditioner for hair, soothes after-sun skin. Its taste cannot go unremarked upon and therefore it is delicious in lip balms, as well as healing. And great for all types of body oils, creams, lotions and anything else from which you desire a deep softening effect.
 
Clove The hot and spicy clove essential oil is derived from the flower buds of the clove tree. The oil has a stimulating, warm energy and contains antiseptic and anti-viral properties.  
 
Dead Sea Mud - Dead Sea Mud has been popular since the time of Cleopatra and with good reason. Rich with magnesium, sodium, phosphates, bromides among other minerals, this has long been hailed as an excellent skin conditioner, boosting the skin’s vitality. It is known for aiding skin conditions, as well as hydrating, reducing roughness and inflammation. The mud has natural disinfectant qualities which aids blemished skin and is also an effective exfoliater.
Dead Sea Salt - Salt from the Dead Sea, just like the mud, contains high concentrations of minerals. It is rich in chloride, bromide, magnesium, sodium, calcium and potassium. This unique blend has been used for millennia in the effective treatment of a range of ailments thanks to the stimulating effects it has on blood circulation. For skin ailments, such as acne and psoriasis, Dead Sea salt water has a very relieving effect. The high levels of magnesium aid in the re-hydration of skin and help reduce inflammation. The salt is very highly recommended for the reduction of wrinkles making it an exceptional tool for the care of ageing skin.
 
Frankincense  - Frankincense has a deep, sweet smell and is popular in making perfumes and incense. It’s fragrance is said to help relieve tension and anxiety by slowing down and deepening breathing. The oil is very good to use for skin rejuvenation, helping saggy tired skin find new life. It’s also good for the promotion of healing blemishes and cuts on the skin. Ginger - Ginger’s warm spicy aroma is the perfect natural ingredient in oil blends for massaging aches and relieving pains. Much of its power is in its stimulating effect as well as anti-inflammatory and circulation-stimulating properties.The lovely familiar scent of ginger is balancing and soothing. It has been particularly cherished in Traditional Chinese Medicine for its healing properties. 
 
 
Grapefruit - The unmistakable zingy sweet-tart aroma of grapefruit is stimulating and makes a wonderful balancer of moods and lifter of spirits. It has drying qualities which is effective in the alleviation of water retention and cellulite particularly in massage oil blends. 
Green Clay - This light green clay, also known as French Green Clay, is medium fine in texture and contains high concentrations of chromium, nickel and copper. Its mineral content is very effective in soothing and restoring skin suffering with weeping eczema and psoriasis, skin blemishes, acne and ingrown beard hair. It is best for use on oily or combination skin, as it is effective in the reduction of the sebum (the body’s natural oil). Green Clay is also deodorizing and has astringent properties.
Jojoba -  Jojoba oil is a medium to light textured oil (technically it is a liquid wax ester, actually) that is chemically similar to the natural moisturizing sebum oil our bodies produce. The great thing about jojoba is that it absorbs so easily without leaving any oily residue. It also contains natural antioxidant and anti - inflammatory properties.
Lavender - The sweet scent is gentle and floral, and has a relaxing and calming effect on the central nervous system. This makes it extremely useful in easing nervous tension, uplifting emotions and bringing about balance to your mood. Lavender can act marvelously as a sedative making it a powerful sleep aid. Lavender does well at both preventing scar tissue from forming and reducing the appearance of existing scar tissue. In addition it acts as an effective anti- inflammatory, it can relieve sunburn, aid headaches, ease muscle aches.
 
Lemon - The delightfully fresh citrus aroma of lovely lemon has invigoration in its very essence. It works very well to bring about clarity of mind, stimulating mental energy and alertness. A multi-functional ingredient, lemon is astringent and hold disinfectant qualities that work wonders on oily, unbalanced and acne prone skin. 
Lemon grass - With its wonderful earthy fresh lemon scent, this oil has the extremely useful properties of being anti-viral and anti-bacterial as well as holding astringent qualities. The leaves of the plant are where the oil is extracted. It is commonly used in lotions, creams and cleansers and is recommended for normal to oily skin. Lemongrass is also a very effective insect repellent and an exceptional deodorizer.
Olive- The familiar rich, green, heavy base oil is as rich for your skin as it is for a healthy diet. High in vitamins and minerals, it makes a wonderful skin softener and is an excellent skin, dry hair, nails and feet conditioner. 
 
Peppermint - A familiar scent, nothing smells quite as fresh as peppermint! With a myriad of uses, the peppermint herb is cooling, deodorizing, stimulating, with antiseptic and astringent qualities making it great for normal-oily skin and for those with acne. Its fresh smell invigorates the mind and awakens the mind, making it a perfect freshener.
 
 
Patchouli - Patchouli oil has a deep spicy-sweet musky smell and its aroma therapeutic qualities show it can help fight anxiety and depression. It has antiseptic properties, astringent and anti-depressant qualities as well as a deodorizing and balancing effect. Patchouli is an excellent regenerator of the skin and helps for infections and insect bites, and can promote fast healing and scar prevention when applied to a healing wound, by promoting fast skin cell growth. 
Orange - The deliciously familiar scent of orange oil is derived from the pressed peel of the fruit. Its energy is warming and brings with it a calming, balanced energy to aid relaxation and evaporate stress.  It’s great for helping with anxiety and insomnia. There is a mild diuretic effect in orange oil, and therefore can aid with water retention and restoring balance in the body.
 
Rose Geranium - Rose Geranium has a rosy-sweet smell with minty overtones. This bright pleasant scent has mood enhancing qualities, helping to ease anxiety and lift depression, making it a wonderful stress reliever. Its balancing qualities apply to body as well as mind: it can be useful in helping balance menstrual irregularities and fluid retention. When applied to the skin in a cream or oil form, it helps to clear clear sluggish skin, aids with skin regeneration and has properties helpful in the treatment of eczema and other skin conditions.
Rose Hip Seed- Rose Hip Seed oil has a fresh, tart scent.  It is a medium to heavy oil produced from the seeds of the rose hip. It is rich in essential acids and works wonders on aged, damaged and devitalized skin. It is very useful in facial blends for its rejuvenating properties and ability to heal and soften skin that has been damaged by, for e.g. stretch marks or old scars, and weather exposure.

It has a powerful effect on the central nervous system and helps with headaches, migraines, mental and nervous exhaustion. Rosemary oil has antiseptic qualities and is es. It has also been know to help with relieving muscular pain. Its stimulating qualities can aid poor circulation. Its astringent qualities make it an excellent remedy for saggy skin and stimulated hair growth by promoting a healthy circulation to the scalp. 
 
Rose - The petals and buds of the lovely rose flower smell exquisite and deep: an instant mood enhancing aroma. It can also help ease muscles and reduce tension headaches. Rose has a mild astringent, antiseptic and antidepressant qualities. It also can promote skin-cell regeneration.
 
Rosewood - This essential oil has a sweet and spicy floral scent. It is an effective mood booster, helping to raise spirits and bring back balance to the mind and body. It has a positive effect in the reduction of headaches, fever, coughs, infections and is a general good boost for the immune system. When used in skincare products, the oil is a very effective on dull, dry or oily skin while having a rejuvenating effect. This quality makes it  excellent for use on mature skin to help stimulate and bring back a youthful flush.
Sandalwood - Sandalwood has a rich exotic woody smell which has a calming and harmonizing effect ideal for reducing stress, easing nervous tension and general anxiety. This essential oil has amazing hydrating and moisturizing properties. It is very effective to use on dry or chapped skin and is anti-aging. Antiseptic and soothing, Sandalwood is excellent for circulation of the scalp to encourage hair growth.
 
Spearmint - Like its cousin, the peppermint plant, Spearmint shares many of the same qualities, just in a milder form. It has the same cooling, deodorizing, stimulating properties with antiseptic and astringent qualities as well as a wonderful scent.
Tea tree - This Australian essential oil  contains a range of very powerful healing properties. This oil is remarkable in its effectiveness against fungi, bacteria and viruses. It can be used  to treat,  rashes and infections  and is  wonderfully effective in aiding respiratory infections. Its astringent quality makes it a popular oil to use on blemish or acne prone skin.
